Dental Veneers Blackburn

Dental Veneers

We understand it’s hard to flash your pearly whites if your teeth have gaps, chips, wear, or discolouration. Veneers can correct these dental issues and bring your smile back to its best, giving you the confidence to smile widely again.

Our veneers are handcrafted by an Australian dental lab, with each veneer custom-made for every individual tooth. As with all of our services, when you get veneers, you can rely on us getting the job done gently, comfortably, and right the first time around.

How long does a veneer replacement take?

A veneer replacement is generally performed over two appointments. The first is to prepare your teeth and to obtain all the information we need to match your veneers as naturally as possible to your teeth. You’ll receive temporary veneers until your permanent ones are complete. The second visit will remove your temporary veneers and bond your permanent veneers to your teeth. Our gentle and highly experienced dentists will ensure that they fit naturally and comfortably. After they are placed, your veneers will be ready to show off immediately.

What exactly is a dental veneer?

Veneers are a thin shell of porcelain or resin composite that is bonded to the front of the tooth. Veneers are used to change the shape or colour of the tooth, close gaps between teeth, cover worn or chipped teeth and rebuild enamel lost through acid wear. Veneers are one of the quickest and easiest ways to give you a perfect smile.

What is the difference between a dental crown and a dental veneer?

Crowns and veneers are made from similar materials, but they are typically used for different purposes. Veneers are bonded to the front surface of the tooth, making them useful for changing the shape and colour of front teeth. They are often used for correcting cosmetic damages or imperfections in the teeth.

Crowns, on the other hand, cover the whole tooth in a 360-degree fashion. Dental crowns can be used for front or back teeth and are commonly used to repair teeth that have been severely broken or damaged.

What is the difference between porcelain and composite veneers?
